Congratulations! You've finished your brilliant manuscript and you've gotten a publisher!
So you've decided to publish yourself through Smashwords or Kindle Direct or one of the many opportunities for self-publishing.
That's great, too!
So what's next? Sit back and wait for the royalties to roll in? Wouldn't that be nice! But that could take a year or more with a traditional publisher. Whether you are working with a publisher or self-publishing, you need to start marketing your book for success!

Social Media Will Grow Your Following FASTER
You definitely want to promote your books on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Stumbleupon, etc. for FREE or use their inexpensive advertising plans to target and grow your readership. Posting about your book on a regular basis is not something your publisher is going to do. They just don't have time! But you can drive your own book sales with your postings and send readers, via a link, directly to an Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Nook or website page.
Don't wait until your book is in hard copy. Start building your following today so you have a foundation for the future. You can start promoting yourself as an author and your upcoming projects at any time. In fact, I find that once you start promoting your newest manuscript it really lights a creative fire under your - well, you know.
What are you waiting for? START MARKETING!
